Privacy Notice
Smart Journey: Offline Trips is designed to keep your trip workspace on your device. The app does not require an account.
Information you add
You may add trip names, dates, time zones, travel notes, confirmation codes, links, and itinerary details. This information is stored in the app’s local storage on your device.
On-device processing
Trip parsing runs on your device using an embedded local model and deterministic extraction. Smart Journey does not send trip text to a remote inference service, and there is no remote inference fallback for trip parsing.
Data collection
Smart Journey does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking services. The app does not create a developer-operated account or upload your trip workspace to a developer-operated server.
Links and platform services
If you open a saved link, the destination website may receive information according to its own privacy practices. Apple may process App Store, purchase, device, diagnostic, or platform information under Apple’s policies. Those services are separate from Smart Journey’s on-device trip workspace.
Removing local data
Use Clear trip to remove the current trip rows and workspace state while retaining the app’s local database. Use Delete all local data to remove the app’s local database files, keys, and cached artifacts from the device. Removing the app through iOS also removes its app container according to Apple’s platform behavior.
Changes to this notice
This page will be updated if Smart Journey’s data practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
